Lychee Jelly Recipe

If you need a quick and stress-free dessert for tomorrow, try my new Lychee Jelly recipe! It only takes 3 ingredients, including water, haha! Make it tonight, and you'll have a cooling dessert in your fridge that your family will appreciate after all the holiday feasting. If you like add other fruits or even chrysanthemum flowers before the jelly sets. =)

With only three ingredients, you won't be breaking a sweat over this =)





Lychee Jelly Recipe

4 level tsp powdered gelatine (Halal)
1 cup (250 ml) of boiling hot water
1 can of lychees

1. Sprinkle the gelatin over the hot water. Stir until completely dissolved.

2. If the gelatin does not dissolve fully, heat the mixture in the microwave or over the stove briefly.

3. Pour all the lychee syrup from the can into the gelatin mixture. Stir to combine. Transfer the jelly mixture into moulds or into a large bowl.

4. Arrange the lychees in the jelly mixture, facing down. Allow the jelly to set overnight in the fridge.

5. To unmould and serve, place the bowl of jelly in a shallow pan filled with hot water for a few seconds. The sides of the jelly will dissolve slightly and the jelly will slide out its mould easily.
